Festival de Cannes, Immersive Competition 2026
GAWD v. The People is an interactive immersive experience where an audience gathers inside a circular courtroom to witness a speculative AI-led trial, presided over by Judge GAWD, our (mostly) disembodied authority. The show unfolds as part courtroom drama, part civic ritual, part existential reckoning, whole comedy.
Our goal was to scale 1:1 human:AI interaction to a huge audience, agentically coordinate spatial media, lighting, voice, and agent-driven narrative across every surface of a converted black box for a highly engaging, thought provoking and easily tourable show.
Nilor built GAWD v. The People using nova:blossom — spatial canvases, live agents, and runtime orchestration so the room listens, changes, and answers with conviction as one system.
The premiere was an Official Selection In Competition at Festival de Cannes, Immersive Competition 2026; three shows for over 100 people each time.
